Here are some informal ways to say a little bit of something in Spanish.
Cachito
A cachito is a small quantity of something.
- El último cachito de queso. The remaining (small) piece of cheese.
- Con su cachito de inglés. With the little English he knows.
Y cacho
Y cacho can be used to add a bit to a numerical quantity.
- Tiene dos años y cacho. He's just over two (years old).
- A las once y cacho. Just after 11:00.
- Me voy en tres semanas y pico. I'm leaving in a little over three weeks.
A more formal equivalent would be y fracción.
Y pico
Y pico works just like y cacho.
- Me voy en tres semanas y pico. I'm leaving in a little over three weeks.
Tantito
- Espérame tantito. This is the usual way to say Hang on a sec. Note that tanto doesn't work here.
Otro poco
- ¿Me das otro poco? Could I have a bit more (for example, another serving)?
