Antro is the usual word in Mexico for disco, although la disco is also heard (with la, since disco is short for discoteca).

Antrero

Someone who goes frequently to antros could be described as antrero. For example, Es bien antrero tu hermano. Your brother really likes to go clubbing. Go clubbing is irse de antro.

The bouncer is called the cadenero, since the rope barrier used to control access to the club is the cadena, chain.
